One would think that in our modern technocratic consumer society that a plethora of working methods would have been discovered to cure this inner plague, but many of the ways people today use to ease their suffering tends to range from the downright destructive to the barely effective.
But a new mindfulness study from the Georgetown University Medical Center’s Department of Psychology gives hope for real change to those suffering from anxiety disorder.
As reported in The Telegraph those who did mindfulness meditation lowered their stress hormones and body inflammation drastically when compared to those who used a non-mediation stress reduction methods.
So if you are suffering from anxiety don’t despair. There is hope. Simply just learn and practice mindfulness and meditation. It works.
